GAME OF THRONES AND THE WAR OF THE ROSES. LISTENING

LISTENING TASK 1º BACH ( A AND B)  Due date Mon, 13th November


Here is a post dedicated to those fans of the HBO series who still may not know the similarities between the fiction and actual historical data. In case you aren't a viewer of the show, pay attention to this intriguin episode in English History. Check out this video about the similarities and write a comment answering the questions.

    4. I'm not fan of Game of Thrones, I heard some people talk about the serie but right now I'm interesting in other kind of serie. Only time will tell if in the future I'll be fan of Game of Thrones.

    1. The two families who are mentioned in the video are the Lancaster and York family.

    2. The emblem for the two families was the rose, but with different colors. The red rose was from the Lancaster family and the white one from the York family.

    3. The crown should be had put to the Edward´s son, but Richard III (his brother) declared his nephews illegitimate because his father was on a secret marriage. Richard III decided to throw the boys to the prision.

    4. I'm not a fan of Game of Thrones because I dont like to follow a such popular serie, I want to be different to see and search new series, these series who are lost in the Internet. But anyway, about the video... its an interesting history but its had something that I didnt like: the succession war. If its very difficult to recognize my own family imagine in this video, that there are a lot of people so this is very confused to me. Another fact is beacause I didnt like history series, are boring. I like fantasy, cartoon and mistery series

    4 I'm a relly fan about this serie and this video is too interesting, I send a mensage to my sister with he URRL from this video because she loves too! I think the history from England is more amusing that I imagine

    4. I'm not a fan of GOT but I have wanted to watch it for a long time and i didn't whatch GOT because it isn't on Netflix and i prefere to watch other series for Netflix. But after watch this interesting history its sure that i will look for other site where I can whatch this fantastic serie.

    3- He improsioned them and then they disappeared. Their older sister was the key to finish the war getting married with Henry Tudor,uniting both families.

    4- Yes!I'm very very fan of Game of Thrones. I liked see my favourite show has a real history behind the books, not only we see in the television.

    3. What happened was that Richard III declared his nephews illegitimates, because he realised his father was involved in a secret marriage. Moreover, he threw the boys to the prison, and some time after that, they disappeared.
    4. I'm not a Game of Thrones fan, though it is very well-known, is not the kind of serie I would be into. In fact, I started watching some episodes from first season, but then I got bored about it, and a bit confused, because there are hundreds and hundreds of characters! However, I would like to try to keep going with it in a future, maybe when I get more free time, due to I have many friends that are extremely addicted to it, and that swear that's the best serie they have ever watched.
