Hello dear Seniors!
Here is your first task of the year. I would like you to pay attention to this video explaining the basic vocabulary to be able to talk about the pandemic situation we are in. So take 13 minutes of your time , grab your headphones and your notebook to take notes. Pay attention to important concepts like " contaminated surface" or "lockdown" or maybe you are going to need the name of basic objects such as " face mask" or measures such as "social distancing" to explain your current experience at school. There is a writing task coming up and you will be ask to use as much of this vocab as possible. The aim of the video is to give you the proper language to talk and write about this topic

2ºA: watch the video before Wednesday 23rd
2ºB and 2ºC: watch the video before Friday 25th
All senior groups have to be ready to answer the following questions about it by that date:
1) In which different contexts can we use the adjective "contagious"?
2) What is Cockney?How do they speak it?
3) In which contexts can the word " lockdown" be used?
4) What kind of word is " pandemic"? What does ir mean? What is the difference between "epidemic" and "pandemic"?
5) What does "work remotely" mean?
There will also be a writing task to be prepared over the weekend . Check your classroom space for that.
