Hi , everyone!!. Here is something new for you, have  you heard of this film? Here is a listening exercise about the tráiler.



Watch the tráiler and choose the exercise that you  prefer :



a) Listen to the background song and try to write the lyrics down

b) Pay attention to what Jake ( the male leading role) says and write it down

c) Pay attention to what Emma ( blond floating girl) says and write it down

d) Pay attention to what Miss Peregrine's says and write it down.

Welcome to the English Department Blog. My name is Aránzazu Sánchez Navarro and I will be your English teacher this school year and the manager of this blog. Either you are new at our school or an “experienced”EALO student , let me introduce you to this new resource that I am sure will help you take active part in the English class.

What kind of blog is it?

Here you will find a place to contribute with your ideas ( in English), give your opinion, know about others viewpoints…it’s a site where different videos, songs and articles  regarding the english speaking world will be posted, and about which we expect your comments.
It is also a resource bank , look for the columns under the blog title and feel free to browse over the different categories ( dictionaries, listening practice, exam certifications...)

I hope you find it an interesting corner to ask questions about the topic posted, or language questions that I will be happy to answer.

What if I still do not trust my English skills?

Everyone has an opinion and  brilliant ideas about different topics. It does not matter if you commit mistakes while writing, just share and communicate. If you never try , you`ll never know!

So, no homework or projects implied?

Well… there will be some tasks you will be asked to do using the blog, usually fun ones, like listening to a song or watch a video. Some of them will be considered "class participation" or "homework" Remember, it is also a resource bank,
