  2. Have you ever had a summer or weekend job?
In the first place I have never had any kind of job. But I was planning to have a summer job this year because I need to save for college and to buy a car. Also in my town the city council gives work to young people who have recently turned 18, this job is to be an assistant to people who work for the city council, especially helping secretaries. The problem is that I don't like that type of work. So they proposed to me to work in the fields picking strawberries or oranges and they also told me if I wanted to help on the horse racing tracks. But in the end I couldn't work on any of these jobs.

    2. I can´t believe your city council offers young people a job. This a brilliant idea! The mayor of Huelva should do it too.

  3. Summer jobs
When the holidays arrive all you want to do is turning your previous working schedule during the whole year into a spare time schedule. But then, when there's no more summer you may regret about all the expenses you've made without getting any economic profit ou of it, that's why I think it's convenient for anyone.
I'd never had this kind of job, most summers I didn't want to wark at all, but when I grew up, I tried to look for something but employers weren't interested in underaged staff, so I couldn't achieve my goal, however this summer I become 18 years old, so I can't refuse to be in the lookout for opportunities (especially if I want to study outside Spain, I'll need to earn extra money). So, all this being said, I'll try my best to get a summer job now that I need to finance future projects.

  4. Yes, I have worked several times in the summer in ice cream shops, cleaning houses, taking care of children, but I have almost always worked in the field with my father. Many times on weekends in punctual jobs ,like taking care of a baby because his parents have to work ,etc. I like to work in my free time to be able to earn money for my things, like buying me clothes and going out with my friends without having to ask my parents for money. In the jobs in which I was most interested is in the care of small children, in the field helping my father, dispatching in shops , etc. although I would be willing in any job as long as I got it right.

  5. I have never had any job.
I was thinking of working this summer to save for my studies, so i can get my driving license, and help the family.
As for the type of work i do not know, that would be the best when i was offered that job or seeing that available Jobs that would be for summer.

I never actually have a full-time job both summer or weekends. But sometimes I paint furniture or walls for my family for a little salary. The reason I don, t do any summer job or I will do one is because, in my opinion, I prefer to spend summer learning new skills or doing my projects. It is very common on my set aside some videogames, books, or ideas I have dor the summer or weekends, so I can dedicate more effort to my studies and getting good grades so I can be free in summer. As well, I have my own pocket money my parents give to me, and for me, it is more than enough for going out with my friends and buying my things. Also I become from a wealthy family and I don´t have to worry about college or that stuff so I can study and prepare my self for a good job in the future.

I have never had a summer or weekend job but I have think about it several times because I relly want to earn money to be more independent from my parents but it's quite hard, I mean I don't know where to start. I don't care about the job, I would do anything.

However summer it's my long break from school stuff so otherwise someties I don't feel like getting one because I want to make the most of my free time before I have to reaturn to routine

I have once worked playing in a band or advertising, but only occasionally. However, I would like to do it this summer as there are many things I want to buy and I don't have enough money for it. Maybe this summer I will try to work as a babysitter or as a private teacher for primary school children. What I do know is that I want to make the most of my time this summer.

I actually had a weekend job the last summer. My neighbou went on a trip with her family and she couldn't left her big dog alone, as well she knows that I have experience with animals so she gave to me her house's keys for take care of her dog. At the end, my salary was 70€. It was the best job that I ever had, I mean, she paid me for play, take care of a dog, best job ever. Also, her dog is a big but very good dog. And this summer I want to be an employee of McDonald's or Burger King so I could pay my driving license and my next studies and in the future I would have a very good job.

I have never worked in the summer but I would like to work.
My ideal job would be in civil protection, red cross or as a volunteer helping in any way possible. I would do it without any kind of remuneration. I would also like to work in a supermarket or in a bar or restaurant as a waiter.

  12. Hi!
I have never worked in summer but I would like to do it. I would like to work in an animal protection or in a pet shop. Even though, I can't work this summer I would like to try it In another moment, because I think this will be very satisfactory and I could learn a lot of things. I would like to start working as soon as possible, although this isn’t in what I really want to work, this is a good option to start working, and win experience.

  13. *Had you ever have a summer or weekend job ?*

The answer is not, I had not ever have one of them, but I really like to have one this summer.
I am making a CV for the quarantine. I ask to myself what kind of job I would like to get, the reasons why I wish to get that kind of job, if I would have the enough time to work at summer or weekends.

I would like to get a job which I have to use my creativity, emotions, language or help other ones. I would like to get a job like those because of I want to earn money for the university, buying with my own money things and the most important being able of travelling so much. The last reason that I've said is one of seconds more important for me after the university, due to my ideal job would be an aboard job which I could travel so much, meet new people, new cultures, new places...

However, it is so much to hard for me to get one. The first reason is that my parents work at summer, winter... since monday to friday or saturday and I usually have to look for my little demon sister while they are not at home. The second reason is that my parents don't like the idea, due to they think that if I start to work I won't study more like they did, but they are wrong, I have told them many times that it depends of the kind of the person and its goals. I have put my own goals on my mind and I have decided that this summer I want to work to be more independent with my own life and being more responsable providing my money.

Hi everyone! These days I had some troubles with my wifi, so here I go:

I have never had a recognized job, but I worker for a while teaching and helping my Little sister with the school for a salary of 5 euros an hour, four hours a week. This helped me so much to get my own money and for be able to buy things that I needed.

This summer I would like to to get a full-time job. I'm not trying to get a great job at the moment, I just want to get enough money to continue my studies in another city. A few weeks ago I completed my CV, so I'll start looking for a job soon. At the moment, I've a radio training certificate, so I hope this helps me.

But I have big goals for my future work; like one where I must use my creativity and my art skills, and allow me to travel around the world.

I hope your dreams come true too! :)
