GRAMMAR 1A. FUTURE PERFECT AND FUTURE CONTINUOUS

Hello again!

I hope you enjoyed working with the song yesterday. How about a little grammar today? Today's grammar topic is FUTURE PERFECT AND FUTURE CONTINUOUS. Now I have organised this post in two sections; EXPLANATION AND PRACTICE. Follow the instructions.

EXPLANATION:

Remember we already reviewed the "basic" future structures ( WILL+ INF, GOING TO+ INF, PRESENT CONTINUOUS and even PRESENT SIMPLE ). See the post Monday 30th

CLICK HERE FOR A QUICK VIEW OF THE BASIC FUTURE  FORMS

But there are other tenses to express the future one of them is called FUTURE PERFECT and the other one FUTURE CONTINUOUS

SEE THE VIDEO EXPLANATION FOR THE FUTURE CONTINUOUS ( also known as PROGRESSIVE).

WILL + BE ( infinitive)+ -ING

NOW SEE THE VIDEO EXPLANATION FOR THE FUTURE PERFECT.

WILL+ HAVE ( infinitive) + past participle

DO YOU PREFER TO STUDY THESE TENSES FROM YOUR BOOK?

You can refer to your text  book ( Get Set ) on page 50 or to the Grammar Reference at the back of the book, PAGES 115, 116 ( remember, the blue section at the back) if you prefer to learn/review it from your book.

PRACTICE :
Online practice:  CLICK FUTURE CONTINUOUS  or FUTURE PERFECT to practice with self-correcting exercises.

You do not have to post or send anything today. Just watch the videos and practice online.
There will be an assessable worksheet on this topic tomorrow. Be ready for that 😉
