1B JUNIORS PHRASAL VERBS PRACTICE

Hi 1b juniors!
How are you today? Ready for some phrasal verbs practice ? Here it is a little review/ extension exercise. Let's concentrate on the phrasal verbs around this web.
LOOK + 11 different prepositions 



Check the meaning on an online dictionary.  and write down the meaning on your notebook.📓

TODAY'S ASSIGNMENT:
Choose 5 phrasal verbs from above☝ and write an explanatory sentence that is true for you in the blog. Use a valid sentence ( S+V+O+ adverbs) that really explains the verb. Pay attention to the examples in the self-correcting exercises to see what follows  the verb. See some clues about how to use them below👇


Remember to use original sentences that are true for you, check spelling before writing. Do your best! Answers will be corrected by tomorrow.

    -Look up: When I look up I always get dizzy
    -Look for: I, who was looking for a pencil under the bed, hit my head
    -Look forward to: My sister, who looking forward to for an orden, did not arrive

    -Look through: When i’m in a bookshop, I look through as many book as i cam

    Look for: I´m lookin for my pocket.
    Look round: I took a look round the cliffs myself this morning.
    Look up: We use a dictionary to look up the meaning of words.
    Look back: The secret of success is never to look back.
    Look in: Lucas, look in my eye and tell me this is true.

    1-. When I was in my cousin's house, I looked after my niece.

    1. I'm looking forward to have a meet up with my friends again.
    2. I've been looking for a new mouse pad recently.
    3. When my father goes shopping, he always go looking in on my mother and me.
    4. It's useless for me to look around in the streets because I get lost anyways.
    5. When I was younger my older brother looked after me.
